The Hamburg police force trusts in on line Datensysteme GmbH as a reliable long-term IT partner and provides all police departments since 1997 with on line PCs and peripherals. The latest letter of award in 2006 contains 800 printers, 900 TFT displays and further 1,000 PCs of the brand »es on«. This product is licensed and manufactured since 2005 at the on line Datensysteme GmbH (see products). Windows 2000 and NT are installed as well as other police software like: COMVOR (computer based administration system), HELP (operation control system), POLAS (police information system), SMIS (ship controlling system), GISPOL (graphical information system), MESTA (police / court software), VICLAS (violent crime linkage analysis system). The digital pass photo catalogue ("Digi-Libi") was invented on on line PCs in 1996 as one of the earliest. The police Hamburg called the invention of the new technology one of the most important mile stones in the fight against crime. |
